If you are looking for less testosterone, send a PM to "strongerthanyesterday" on the forums. She is a good climber.

that's true--i have testosterone coming out of my ears--some people call it wax, but i know those little yellowish flakes are testosterone cause i sold some to jose canseco in a bathroom in dowtown oakland...he melted it down and shot it up--pretty cool...

Whoa, I don't think gumbo was out of line. Plus, I don't think that strongerthanyesterday lead climbs.

However, the leap is in full swing in June. The campground will have plenty of climbers, and it would probably not be hard to get partners if you're camping there yourself.

woah woah woah, I think you both misunderstood me. I wasnt accusing anyone of doing anything but being a man. Im sure its more comfortable to climb with the same sex, I know I feel that way.

HELLO!!! Put down the cockblock.
A female swiss climber touring the country and needs a climbing parter (that just screams hott). I would be all over that if I wasn't 3,000 miles away.

hi there. i'm going to be up in the cascades for a bit at the beginning of the month but if i'm around while you are i'd be happy to meet up. i don't lead tho- do you ?

i don't have any women climbing partners around tahoe, mine live in the bay area. maybe some of them can come up that weekend and we could all have a shindig. also there are a few guys around tahoe who are good, safe climbers and might be able to go with you. and they'll be climbing with you because they enjoy climbing, period, and not trying to get into your pants, if that happens to be a concern of yours. if i happen to be climbing with any of them that weekend i bet you'd be welcome to come along :) i bet you might hear from some of them anyways :) pm me if you have any questions about anything :)

edit: i just realised i'm going to be working on those days. i'll have just been out of town, so i can't get out of it.

Jeez, guys, give it a break.

I enjoy climbing with BOTH sexes, alone or in pairs, provided they aren't GUMBIES. (though i've a bit more patience with a gumb-ette)

Just cause you're tying in with someone of the opposite sex doesn't mean you're bumpin uglies after the climb.

If you have the perception that you will be, the tension you are creating will make the climbing less enjoyable for both parties. THEN your CHANCES go waaay down.

Don't have any preconceived notions about anything, other than having a good, safe, fun climb. Otherwise, you may find yourself "Belay Off" clipping the crux bolt.

oh, yeah, little miss swissy,

If you find yourself driving through Utah, shoot me a PM. BCC quartzite, LCC granite, AF limestone, Maple cobble, IC sandstone desert crack, we got it all here.

Tie in mandatory, anything else is optional.

how would you have an internet climb off?
this presents some intriguing metaphysical questions--does the internet exist? what does it look like? does it have a sex (or more importantly--does it have sex?)
i suggest the rules for the climb-off being so:
each player gets five minutes to add the hardest ascents to their climbed route list--the player at the end with the most hard ascents would be the winner, and all others would have to bow to his superior knowledge and skills...

Gumbo,

Thanks, now I have to clean the cereal off my keyboard from laughing so hard.

To the woman looking for partners for Lover's Leap in June---no problems there, for like Caughtinside said, the Leap will be in full swing and the campground full of climbers. Have fun and be safe.

Oh yeah, Gumbo, give a shout if you want to get out in the Tahoe/Drano (Reno) area.
