when i was in smith, i counted 33 draws on one wall, and this was from one angle where i was sitting, there was MORE around the corner.. the moral from this story, don't put any sentimental value behind a draw...its a draw, $20 at the MOST......and i can 100% stand behind no one will return it, there's assholes out there and climber's will consider it booty and thus fare-game. (as well RC.com is only a small % of the worlds climbers)....i've never been to JTree but if there is a bulletin board or something of the like post something there....if there is one, every climber checks them out before or after a days of climbing (route info, partners info, lost gear, etc) hope ya have some luck, but realisticly, its a draw....i personally wouldn't worry too much about it.

I would have thought that I'd find trad gear in J-Tree but I find more quick draws than anything else. About a year ago my buddy and I pulled 3 draws off of a 3 bolt "sport" route. It was a 5.8 near Loose Lady. The first bolt had one draw, and the 2nd had two opposite and opposed. That was just weird... Anyways, good luck finding your draw! Josh

I lost a picket on Mt. Hood last year, if anybody sees that, please drop it off at my house, it doesn't have my name on it anything. :D

Check under the seat of your car. Everything I ever lose, regardless of size somehow ends up there, but not until after I have already replaced it.

i think your loss is someone elses gain. i lost a green alien a couple weekends ago in josh. it unclipped itself on the downclimb and i didn't find out it was missing until later in the day. :( good luck getting your draw back.

I am not quite sure where and when it was lost, but i was at Headstone, Saddle rock, lenticular dome, and n. astro dome. if you have found it, you can PM me or write me at joshpace@gmail.com. thanks. STFU Weenie. -Jay

In reply to: hey I didnt know everyone would get so torn up about me asking if anyone found my stuff. Because your "stuff" is one quickdraw, and you can't even narrow down where you lost it to less than half a national park. -Jay

If you can afford gas and food to get out to JT you can afford to replace a $15 draw and if you can't you have bigger fish to fry! Next time you lose a ubiquitous piece of gear make sure to come back here and get some help...get outta here!

so you're not quite sure when or where but you KNOW you lost it?? I'm not sure how many people just lose a draw. seems pretty hard to do... like others have said, it $15.00, get a new one. or keep an eye out on eBay
