Was wondering if anyone knew what the conditions are like up at Big Chief in Tahoe. Thinking of heading up there on Sunday so just wanted to know if it will be worth the drive.

I called today, Forest Service Rd #6 is closed at the first gate. I assume its a long hike in from there, so it might be best to hike up from 89.
