I know there is a guide to The Pit, but where can I find it? Is it REI or at Vertical Relief?
Thanks!

www.drtopo.com has one for free.

There is also route info in the "Rockclimbing Arizona" falcon guide and "A Cheap Way to Fly: Free Climbing Guide to Northern Arizona"

I have "The Pit" , 2003, 5th ed, Robert Miller. Don't remember where I bought. Try Hiking Shack.

You can get the 6th ED from any of the outdoor shops downtown. No problem.

I do have some inside info knowing and being a local. Grab the new guide in Downtown Flagstaff. There is Aspen Sports, Babbitt's, Vertical Relief in south downtown. Just go to San Fransisco Street. All the other guides are now out of date. Even the new guide is missing the new new routes that are great.

Rob was at the Pit yesterday... if I had seen this sooner, I coulda asked him. Sorry.

IIRC, 6th ed. is available at Vertical Relief.
