Let's see, three in Toronto, two in Hamilton, one near Niagra, another three local gyms foe which I can't remember the exact locations, and one in Switzerland, so that would be... ten.

That seems like alot of gyms (to me), but it really doesn't stack up anywhere close to my list of visited crags, as I would think the case is with most people.

I've been to three in Toronto, one in Hamilton and one in Kitchener.

kriso9tails: I know of Gravity in Hamilton but what is the second one?

Actually, kr6er, Palm Springs doesn't have the only outdoor gym in the country. In Fayetteville, Arkansas, there's a place called "La Casa Pollo" which has a 75 foot outdoor tower complemented by indoor bouldering and sport/trad climbs. There is even a sky bridge that you can climb on to get to the main tower. I'll try to get a cool picture and post or email it to you, you might like to see it.

By the way, I've only been to three gyms: "La Casa Pollo" in Fayetteville, AR, Lewis & Clark Outfitters (I used to work there) in Springdale, AR, and the U.S. sport climbing club in Colorado Springs, CO (Kind of disappointing, very short)

There used to be a gym called The Zoo Station way up on the mountain before gravity was in business, but they closed a while ago. Hamilton needs a second gym, Gravity's okay, but the routes are way to easy.

I've been to at least 10 gyms. I found that they all rock. But to me the thing that really makes a gym cool is the routes, other climbers and the environment. For me its not the quantity of hold or how big it is... so A great gym to me may be something totally different to you all.

I've been to six.

Three in Ohio, one in Louisiana, and two here in Colorado. Not a big gym fan, but my favorite is Urban Krag in Dayton, Ohio, where I grew up. Built inside of an 18th century church with great long routes up to the old steeple.
