Anyone aware of any rockclimbinh in Panama or Costa Rica, am going there in aobut two weeks. I am a novice so want to learn more...and would love to scuba dive and rockclimb in that region...Bob

i just saw this post and dont know if you will be checking it or you are back already but i spent 6 months in panama and only thing i foud was some boulder along side the road that wasnt worth all the bee stings and ant bits i got..as for coasta rica i have no clue...you might want to check out the el valley up nearthe boarder of panama

Thanks for the advice, I have been in Panama for a week now, it sure is a beautiful country, but haven't seen anything that approachs rockclimbing, am heading to El Salvador for a few days next week, anxious to check around and see waht is there...bob

i used to live in panama
let me tell you, there is nothing.
i saw a few places deep in the jungle but i wouldnt climb that. the only place i know of is an indoor gym on fort Kobbe(which doesnt exist now) it might be worth a shot if the panamanians havent torn it apart.
