Hello all, A friend and I are considering heading up to the Incredible Hulk for a few days in mid July. We'd like to camp up high and stay for a few days, to do the Red Dihedral and Positive Vibrations. I understand the Sierra has a huge snowpack this year, and that melting has been slower than usual. Has anyone been up on the Hulk this year? Or been in the area? Just wondering if we are likely to be camping on snow, if the approach is still snowed in, etc. I just heard that the High Camps won't even open this summer, which got me wondering. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. -Nubbler

Just wondering if you made it up there yet and what you found conditions to be like. I just spent a couple days in the palisades. Snow level is at 11 thousand feet so I imagine you should be pretty much clear since i believe the summit is only 11,500.
