Just to let whoever is interested know, I have recently done an update to my website. I have updated all sections of my site, but have added the most to my rock climbing section. So if you are bored at home/ work and are tired of checking out the same websites that you have bookmarked and have seen a million times, here's something a little new that can keep you busy for a while. http://www.merrickales.com

Your pictures are great ! Some look very familiar :) A little blurb at the bottom of each picture summarizing who, where would be really cool .

In reply to: hmm...it doesnt work for me...theres just your logo. nothing to click on :? I wouldnt be surprised if it only worked in Internet Explorer for windows....thats the problem with using GoLive...it writes invalid code and IE is such a crappy browser that it actually works.. it works for my mac in safari, firefox, and IE.

Very cool pics, well organized and all that. I only have one suggestion - it's RAPPEL not REPEL.

nice site, but you've got a typo on your 'about me' page. you spelled 'rappelled' wrong. prolly should fix that, considering your love of climbing and all. love the photos-- just wish they had little notes telling me what routes all of those folks are climbin!

great photos Merrick. I agree a little who what and where caption would be nice (and a lot of work). It is always nice to see pics of people and problems I know. I have a few pics that are almost identical from Bishop (seeing how I was standing next to you snapping away, that isn't a huge surprise).

hahaha....oops. I changed the repel to rappel (actually did this a long time ago). Guess spell check didnt catch it cause it wasnt spelled wrong. Thanks for all the compliments. pancaketom, hope you are well and still on the road as I am sure you are, and good to hear from you. To answer the other questions, I use the Nikon D100 to shoot with and I use Adobe Golive and write some html to build my website. Maybe someday I will get around to adding captions for all the photos. Until then, check back cause I do update everynow and then, especially the gallery.

awesome photos. It would be nice if the site did not pop up so many new windows, it slows down the loading of the great pictures. Nice presentation otherwise.

I use pop up windows cause I figured it was easier to "X" out (or apple w/ctrl w) when you are done rather then using the back button.

In reply to: Classic "opening page" shot, The five climbing pixs are Sick! Cover material. Is that tree in the travel section from bishop? five climbing pixs??? I think there's something like 100. Try looking at the site at 1024x768. That might help.....
