I will be in Sedona this fall (Late September-Early October) for about a week working on a film project involving climbing, highlines, etc. I am going to film a handful of routes down there that I have climbed in the past that have asthetic, unique pitches, etc. I would also like to film some local slackline-highline gurus on any highlines established in the Sedona area. I am looking for climbers to film, and also for climbers to assist me for a few days fixing lines on a couple of towers-routes. I would like to find a small group of climbers that would be willing to fix lines the day before filming a particular route so I can maximize the availability of good light, weather, etc. I can offer a small amount of money for people willing to help me fix lines, etc. Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks. http://fritzrips.com/...rincess_traverse.jpg

Hey, My rigging techniques are hardly sophisticated, so actually, I'd like to be able to jump on and just help and learn, and if I can, maybe even stowaway with my still cameras. I may be a film gumby, but as such, no compensation required 8-) I'll ask my cronie Kole (and his local desert cronies) if they'd be interested in being in front of the camera... they're photogenic guys ;)

Just from established anchors in the area, single lines, etc. Just simple jugging, shooting, and having fun. Still images can always be integrated into film too. So that could be a possibility. Come 'on Mark, no Mace Huck for you? I'll have to get someone younger and dumber then. How about the 'other' jump across, game for that one again?

Well, I'll ask Kole about this and see if he's interested in helping on either side... that'd be killer if he'd climb Fat Bastard on customized 2 x 4s! (that thing makes me wanna puke just looking at it) That's right Kole, I am laying you out on the altar!

I can picture the pain it would involve just by the name.

yeah, I'd do the OCS huck, you might have to paste several frames of " the waiting to get up the nerve pause" to get the "mental effect" I think Climbsomething would be a better choice however for "streaker spire"--M

Hey Hillary, I think 6 months of desk work has made me too fat to fit into the Bastard but I'm game to try, it should be good for a laugh. I'm hoping to be back in Flag by September, I'd be willing to help out fixing ropes and stuff. It sounds like a fun project! Kole

Streaker Spire: Mark and I climbed that in traditional 'style'. Just don't want to look up on the 2nd pitch as the view of your climbing partner directly above the belay is a bit disturbing.
