Okay, so technically this is a midline, but unless I'm mistaken it's the first in the state. I'm interested in confirming this, so if anyone knows of any others walked up here, please let me know. :) Figured I'd share the pics with the community, since it was a fun time.

very cool,, the river looks awsome, and the green hills,, really, thats the most energy filled slackin pic ive ever seen.. the senary is jsut so vibrant.
yeah,,, right on man, just looked at it again, the knee droop pic is the bomb!!

Nice shots.
Just a quick question, were you using carabiners or a rap ring to attach your leash to the line? I couldn't tell from the pics.

An autolocker with the gate duct taped for smoothness. Thanks for the comments all! Heading back up tomorrow for some more fun! 8^)

Ouch, I take it your friend got whipped into the rock.
Somehow in the back of my mind I keep thinking a video game designer that has seen a big leashed fall came up with the gamers term of "ragdoll physics."

Hehehe, yeah three of my friends managed to get whipped into the rock. I'm thinking there may be a pattern here. :lol: The leash being so far behind them pulls them backwards when they fall, which of course is immediately after the exposure gets them, right when they step past the rock. Dunno how to fix it really, besides hanging a crashpad on the wall or telling them to go all out and get PAST that point before falling. :?

You may have better luck switching to rap rings, they might slide smoother and as a side benefit they have no gate to fall against. Of course that doesn't help with the whole exposure thing.
Haha, yeah. Any idea where I can get the extra strong rings? I haven't looked around a lot, but I do know I can't get them locally. At least not the beefy ones Larry and Chris were using in Smith....
