You really know how to comfort :D As I'm still sore and a whole body hematoma from the last trip, I think I can stand it for a while... If just my step brother wouldn't marry this weekend... Damn sucker hinders me from outdoor recreation. He could have married in winter! Or just stop that bs completely and kept on looking for a less idiotic wife... - Daniel

All family issues should be in a way that they can spontaneously be timed on a day with horrible weather.

As I really hate the cold and spend most fo the winter in the sweat'n'chalk atmosphere of the gym, this would be bearable. As long as my trad rack eats the loan I couldn't afford the proper clothing/equipment anyway, so winter expeditions have to wait for another while. chrtur, beware of my battery-shaped voodoo-puppet! - Daniel

Grrrr. I just spent the last minutes with debating over my reference. Damn manager didn't want to attest me 'good command of English'. What the hell does she know?!? I did nothing but writing English the whole last year. Not that she knows, but... ahhh, the irony... - Daniel

In reply to: Want you me on the palm tree bring? - Daniel  haha! reminds me of my attempt to explain the German book series "English for Runaways" to an American the other day. A book full of "English" sentences that are only funny if you speak German. Strange concept...

Good luck, have fun, be save! - Daniel Good news: - girldrifter did her trad lead with paolo75 in the dolomites (expect a detailed report, I'd say, hahaha) - me and ejlim this time did NOT get rained out in Austria (was close tho...) Bad news: paolo75's pants obviously did not burn. :( Which is in turn good news, too, because in this way Italy avoided mass mortality due to toxic fumes  Anyone else to report? come on guys, you MUST have been climbing sth this weekend. But please: share scary, funny or disgusting parts ONLY. :D h.

Hi! I'm going to be visiting my mother near Brussels (Brain-L'Alleud) from August 10- Sep. 7. I would love to climb in the area and more ideally long routes in the Dolomites. I am a professional climbing instructor for a US based outdoor school and I have technical and rescue competence. I lead 5.9/5.10 trad, 5.10/5.11 sport, enjoy bouldering, but I am largely just looking to get out and have some fun on foreign rock. I'm a 26 year male who doesn't speak french. Anybody interested or have some direction for the quality places and people in the Brussels area for good advenures? The more information the better Many thanks!
