Ok time for my biannual trip. I'd like to climb in tulomne i've never climbed there so I'd be happy to do anything from easy classic's to harder stuff. Yosemite- The rostrum, maybe some shorter walls fast, I could easily be talked into the Steck-salathe again, maybe another El cap route. T-Trip in a push??? red rocks....Big routes are on my tick list. Resolution Arete, lot's of stuff on Mt. Wilson, i could be talked into running up the rainbow wall. I'm very interested in having a good time so although I've mentioned a few routes I'm up for just about anything!!! Drop me a line and let's have some fun!! I'm also not glued to these places J-tree, tahquitz, Zion are all possiblities!! josh

Never climbed in Tuolumne? Criminal! 8^) I won't be able to get out, but you should definitely do the Tenaya Peak, Matthes Crest, Cathedral Peak link up. I simuled Matthes Crest, which had some 5.8 downclimbing, but you could probably solo it. There is some beta on the linkup in the ST matthes crest beta page. Long killer day in incredible country!

I head up to TM and the valley as often as I can, and have been looking for some strong partners. I would probably be able to hook up a couple times for 4 days at a time. I'm solid leading easy 10's, and up to A3 on walls.

When you go out to Red Rock check out the back of Ice Box Canyon. It sounds as though you might enjoy the Buffalo wall, namely Buffalo Wall V. It definitely will be cooler back in there, besides being pretty burly. Lex

In reply to: When you go out to Red Rock check out the back of Ice Box Canyon. It sounds as though you might enjoy the Buffalo wall, namely Buffalo Wall V. Thanks for the suggestion! I've actually hiked out to the base of the Buffalo wall and glassed the 2 lines in the swain book- they looked great!! A new route has gone up since then and appears in the new guide from Roxanna Brock and Jared Mcmillon. I'm very interested in climbing these routes, but the approach would be a bear with a haulbag....I'd prefer to do them in a push, which is complicated by the access to the loop road. josh

I am headed to the valley this weekend. I have yet to pin down a partner. Give me a ring if you are still without a commitment. Scott 951-323-3246
