Im looking to buy a full set of Camalot C4's, but I cant seem to find a decent price. I found a few sites that sell them for $560 bucks, but that really isnt much of a deal. Does anyone know of any websites or climbing stores that offer the full set of C4's for a somewhat decent price? Thanks. -Tom

Seems like a long way to drive for 99 percent of us. They do not appear to sell via the internet. :?:

Hmm, I just did a Froogle search and didn't find any deals. But, many retailers will give you a discount if you buy several pieces. REI gives you 5% off if you buy 5 cams. That's not a lot by itself, but if you count the 10% dividend, you get 15% off. Which is ok. The other option is to wait it out, and look for a sale. I got a 'friends and family' to REI a couple years back, which was good for I think 25% off anything if I spent over $200. Easy to do at REI!

Percentages don't work like that 5% off 100 = 95 10% of 95 = 9.5 Ignoring the time difference of getting the dividend = 14.5 .4 - 6 = $658.5 * .95 = $625.56 + tax divident = (@.08 assuming you use credit card) = 50.00 ends up being more like a 12.5% savings at the end of the year REI order 5+ 5% off, free shipping to store, tax if there is an REI in the state you live in. + dividend Could order one of the sets from Mtntools and save that much initially Mtntools have to pay shipping but not tax (unless live in cali) pretty goog savings right there. 5+ 10%off Moosejaw will PM any company that has a website +10% of the difference. + Earn 10% of what you spend in points that you can trade in for mroe gear/ cams / whatever. mgear 10% on .4-6 backcountry.com save .05 on each WOW! gearexpress .4-6 569.95 backcountrygear .4-6 $554.45 16% off! Best deal is 25% if you can get down there otherwise I would call up Moosejaw and PM backcountrygear.com would equal about 17.5% savings, free shipping, + when you pm get 1000 free pts, + 10pts for every dollar spent or maybe 5 because of pm? enjoy s

I checked out that deal Jorgle, It seems that you cant order the C4's online? Im guessing you have to drive down to one of their stores and pick them up? Anyone got any other deals? Seems like they arn't many deals for the C4's. I might have to bite the bullet and pay the $560 bucks for a set. -Tom
