On the north side of Hemlock and Smith lakes is some pretty sick granite.
Unfortunately, I failed to bring gear the weekend I was up in this area. However I am looking for partners to explore the possibilities of setting some routes.

Also some decent camp sites near hemlock lake.

Wouldn't that be in a Federal Wilderness where bolting is not allowed?

:twisted: That is one in the same area.

However who says we have to set any bolts. I personally don't care for them, and would rather find another way if possible to set pro rather than shoot a bolt.

On some the routes I do laps on, bolts just make the route that much easier and I find my self becoming more reliant on them than just climbing clean & smart.
