Steve House and Vince Anderson suceeded in climbing a new route on the central part of rupal wall on nanga parbat and succesfully summited the mountain.

they made a 8 day round trip in clean alpine style. not much more is known to me at the moment, but ill update the news as soon as i get them (i got this from this morning newspaper).

Humar already congratulated them and also revealed the cost of hes rescue. it was 21.600us$.

heres the link for the news, but only in slovenian.

note to mods: please move this to world climbing news

A worthy effort I'm sure. I'd check the link, but my Slovenian is limited to Pivo, Prossim, and Nasdravy...

Cheers,

It's good to see the Muggs Stump Awards going to good use! Steve House is badass.

Great job! House is one of the leading alpinists out there and am sure there is more to come from him.
Well done - hats off!
