Not that this is the greatest place to blog, but I know some people (girls, actually, but a guy owns the site), who blog at diaryland.com.
Ok, so it's more of a journal/diary than a blog, but that's the only site entirely devoted to journaling that I know of.

I "flog". Is that close enough? Beating something with a stick?
I record them from my actual journals I carry and enter them into Word and store them on floppies. But, not blogging.

GetBeta.com has a blog feature thats free.
When I first thought about adding the functionality I was skeptical and thought much the same way as the last guy who posted . After some thought however, I have decided that they can be more than just a diary it can be your own bulletin board for where you are going to be in your travels. Allowing others the ability to find out what you are up to and where you'll be if you are gonna hook up.
It would be great to get some people that blog going on the site so I can pimp it out after some real input from users.
