Friends and I are planning a trip to Joshua Tree over (suprise suprise) xmas break. None of us have been, and it's a bit overwhelming trying to figure out where to start planning. What guidebook is considered the standard? I've seen a Falcon guide a couple of times... is that it? Mainly I'm just looking for personal opinions on the best 5.10s in the area. I prefer cracks but also love face climbing and mixed routes. If anyone would be kind enough to divulge their favorites, I would be greatly obliged.
