Hey, I heard today that top rope bolts were put in at mineral wells, has anybody been there in the past year and seen them? or not seen them?

yeah, a bunch were put in sometime prior to last Christmas (the last time I climbed there). they made setting up TRs a lot easier, notably the setup for PeeWee's.

Yeah, TR bolts are in place on a majority of routes for Scenic Overlook and Main Canyon as well the Big Overhang area and routes like Divingboard and PeeWee's. All the bolts are 10 inch and placed by the local group. You didn't hear it from me, but they are trying to get some sport route in place on climbs like Meat Seeker (5.11) and others in the Main Canyon. Only in areas that the rock is strong enough to handle the stress.

If you think of it, mention how appreciative you are for the Parks Service to allow all the improvements that have been made.
