I would like to put a set of "fangs" like the ones Black Diamond makes on my Charlet Moser Aztars. As far as I know CM does not make anything similar. Does anyone have any ideas how I could modify the BD ones or...???

I wouldn´t bother to put fangs on the Aztars. Whey might be light weight, which is good because they are less tiring to move around, but this also means that they are crap on ice. And the metal is also so soft that they wear out fast on rock. For alpine they are a good tool though.

I'm in the process of making an Aztar fang. I've made the first one and got half way through the second when I broke all my band saw blades. (hum, tried to paist a picture of it here and that didn't work, how do you do that) Anyway, I'll put a picture of it on my profile. A pin holds it in place so that it is easy to remove/replace for changing terain. If you want me to make one for you, we'll have to settle on a fee, they take a while to make.
