I'm from Michigan. There is no climbing in Michigan. Sorry. (P.S.- I know there are a lot of Grand Ledge hardcores out there, but, c'mon... it hardly counts.)

Yeah, there is some climbing here in lower michigan at grand ledge. The place offers some 30-40ft sandstone cliffs. You can only toprope, but is a refreshing break from the gym. The place is west of Lansing, not very hard to find. If you are interested, just reply and I will give you the exact directions.

So I'm looking at this "scenic vistas" calender for michigan and they have this image of the Menominee River with what looks like an 80 foot granite wall on its shores. Where is this place and why does'nt anyone talk about it????
