humble alpine newbie looking for a wise and patient guru to take me under their wing and show me how not to die in the mountains. i live and work in the salt lake/provo area.

Well, I'm no guru. But I live in Provo (ahhh!) and work in Draper and I'm trying to get out a lot this winter. I have some plans, and I don't know what your interests are specifically, but I'd be happy to meet up for some climbs. I'll also probably be trying to get out some mornings/early afternoons for backcountry snowboarding if you're interested in that.....I work at 4 pm so I'm gonna try to pack in some days out before work and then pass out from exhaustion once I get there. We'll see how long it takes me to get fired. Anyways, PM me if you're interested. Like I said, I'm no guru. In fact, it would probably be the other way around if anything.

Scratch that, just read your other post. Our rock abilities are similar, but I'm pretty inexperienced in general. But regardless, let me know if you want to get out ever.
