What are the current condition in Laredo/ Nuevo Laredo? Is it safe to drive across. I went to EPC in 2004 and didnt have any problems.
Is it too hot to climb in EPC in April?

Laredo and Nuevo Laredo are safe enough to drive through but I wouldn't dally around-especially on the Mexican side. If you're coming from the East it would probably be better to cross near McAllen--the Pharr bridge is best.
April is great here. Might be hot, might be rainy but not to worry. The way the walls are oriented there is always shade and if it rains the rock dries really fast.
