Did anybody else catch the sunrise this morning? It was so surreal. The whole sky was pumpkin orange. Bizzare.

It was amazing. Last night's sunset wasn't bad either.

Glad to know somebody else thought that was amazing, too. Off to the west the blue peeking through was so brilliantly blue it almost didn't look real. Good time to be out with the dog. :D

It was amazing. Thanks for the reminder, ZoZo. Brought back memories of J-Tree at dusk and dawn.

I was chatting with the Mushroomcloud_2 about the sunrise this morning. It was amazing. I bet the Alpen Glow in the mtn's was something to be seen this morning.

...and in this digital-access-at-our-fingertips day-and-age no one got a pic? Would'a been a sight for these sore temporarily-tulsan eyes.

You do realize that sunrise/sunset are relative to your location?
It's OK, go smoke another one. 8^)

Not to mention the sun rises in the east and Salt Lake City is decidedly WEST of Denver. I want whatever he's taking....

I'm glad someone else was walkin' around in that trippy glow. I thought it was one of those acid flashbacks... again. What are all these purple ants doin' on me!!!

Maybe it's just my West Coast sensibilities, but I'm slightly disturbed to hear that so many of you were up and about to see the dawn.

Disturbed, and disappointed.

The light was absolutely perfect for about 15 minutes, red to gold. Shame I was driving to work in it.

I am thinking about moving to Colorado by the end of 2006 so if I have to I can wait and see my own sunset and or sunrise but until then

To hell with all you people who get to live in UTOPIA while I am stuck back in North Carolina where I cant even see the damn sun setting because of all the new houses being built around my old house. Its depressing I tell you just depressing.

Please can someone send me a picture really please

A stunning sunrise, for sure. We got a shot of it, I just am too lazy to download it right now and then figure out how to attach it.. Our view is above Boulder, looking out over the plains. Panoramic, with the back of the first and third flatirons in sight! All gold and orange.

My thoughts exactly! I looked at my sheep and said, "I bet it looks even better in the mountains right now."
