The UIAA says the the North American Championship 2006 are being held in Portland on 25th of November. I was wondering whether it was Portland, Oregon or Portland, Maine. Also can anyone else confirm this date and know how one might go watch the competition. Thanks in advance...

We're currently scheduling the comp and will have dates and locations confirmed and posted as soon as possible (most likely within the next month). It's going to be a great event!

The Canadians say they are bringing approximately 40 competitors (including Male Junior World Champ Sean McColl). Mexico says they are bringing 16 competitors. The US will have more than 130 (including speed & roped climbers). It should be a fun event. If you are in the Denver area around Thanksgiving drop by & see some awesome climbers.

Now that ABS has been absorbed by USAC, will ABS continue to continentals or will it end will nationals as before?
