Grand Canyon State Games
Bouldering Competition

Plan to be a part of competitive climbing history. For the first time ever, the Grand Canyon State Winter Games is offering indoor rock climbing (bouldering) as one of their events this year. This is as close to the Olympics as youíre going to get! Letís make this a fantastic inaugural year for climbing in the GCSGs.

Note: You must live in Arizona to compete.

Mark your calendars for Friday, February 3, 2006.

Dude, the Arizona limiting is a bit harsh no? If you wanted at least more people to come and participate you might wanna rethink that. Otherwise, if I couldn't compete I wouldn't go out there just to "watch". :?:  :?:

It sounds interesting, but if it is held at az on the rocks then you can count me (and others) out. There are several people that refuse to step foot inside that place b/c the owner is an egocentric, backstabbing ass who doesn't care about climbing at all except how much money his gym can make. Maybe if you had it at PRG or SR where the owners are actually climbers and good people and have done good things for the climbing community. Just my opinion.
