Or so says Mitchal. He's right, with two rooms and 20 foot walls, this place would be awesome as a hold studded apartment. As a climbing gym, it left much to be desired; 20 foot walls, marginal routes/problems and a twenty dollar day pass. Better to pay the $50 and go to Chelsea Pier.

Who cares if the walls are only 20', you climb the climb get lowered and do the one next to it. Wow now it's a 40" wall. For "$18" I think it's worth saving the extra $32. And if you wanted to boulder the price is well worth it, Chelsea piers bouldering is really just a long travers. I also think that their routes are awsome, you obviously didn't now this, but Chealsea and MPHC have many of the same course setters.
