The better question is: what panties do you wear?

Of all my pants I love my Prana Jericho 3/4 pants or my Arc'teryx gamut cropper 3/4 pants the best. Yeah they're kooky and look like something Frank Zappa would wear but it's REALLY nice to have unobstructed views of your feet and protect your legs from gnarley offwidths.

In reply to: COME ON YOU GUYS!!! You have GOT to be kidding about these 3/4 capri pants you all seem to love!? Capris are for chicks!! Yeah but I don't give a sh*t what anyone thinks....they're just functional. Now granted the knickers are just plain gay but the 3/4 just look like highwaters.

BUT SERIOUSLEY WHO CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU WEAR ?

Those are quite possibly the ugliest pants I have ever had the displeasure to set my eyes on.

I climb very well in just plan old levi 501 jeans. They are very stout! When it's hot a pair of cut off dickie pants are comfortable.

I'm just a nubly n00b (taking a course, been in the gym 2 weeks / 6 times, at ~5.7 level), but I just climb with my hiking pants. Meaning, any synthetic shell-type pant. I like Prana Zions the most probably but I also like my TNF Meridians a lot. I also have a pair of convertable (to shorts) REI something or other that are alright but they're a bit baggy for my taste. In the summer I'll probably switch to shorts. I'd say the proof is in the pudding, if it works for you, go with it.

OLDE NAVY 4 LYFE! ...but seriously. I have one pair of Old Navy brand pants that I consistantly wear climbing.....and I never wash them. The get more and more comfortable every time I wear 'em.

I would say I have to go for the tight jeans. They protect my legs so they don't get scratched. And my footwork sucks anyway.

I always wear my Prana Zions. I had a pair of Titans but worked a hole in them while climbing an off-width, so now I stick to the Zions. They're a little expensive, but ,compared to the number of pants i've ruined before I got these, they've paid for themselves.
