Some of you folks should crank an old rope down hard for a change of pace sometime. It's a lovely median between heavy wire cable and webbing. Still my favorite by far compared to tightwires and slacklines.

It was on one of Joe's ropes that I learned how to use opposition on the slackline. Just to stand you had to lockoff, and then walking maintaining a lockoff with one foot. I also learned about locking off with my shoulder blade, head, and butt, plus funky stuff with the legs, lying down on Joe's rope. When you rolled off, that thing snapped like a mother flicker. When i rolled off his line attached to doug's porch pillar. the whole house shook.
