A while back I saw a great tattoo on this dude. Had a huge cross on his back. And below the cross it had this saying:
"There is only one person who is going to judge me, and it's not you"

There was a really good tattoo thread sometime a ways back. One of the awesome ideas that was brought up (by someone, don't remember who) was a tattoo of a climber climbing a tattooed crack on your leg or back with protection, rope, everything. Sounded really cool.

i have had this idea for a while, and i think i am just going to save the money and get it, in the beal climbing adds, there is this symbol for spirit, i am going to get that whith the words, live*explore*play circling it!

the next tat that i wnat is of a dog or some kind of critter pulling up on mixed terrain with a hanging icicle dagger beside it.
put that on my shoulder blade about 5" in diameter.
gonna cost me a pretty penny though.
My buddy Nick has one of a climber pulling up on the underside of the canadian maple leaf. looks really cool.

I have a friend who has a similar tattoo on his back. It reads "ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME" in tribal lettering.

Tat's are pretty cool if they're original and it sounds like all of yours are. I have a small one on the back of my leg. It's a climber pulling into a peace sign. The peace sign makes up the back of a profiled face. I drew it in high school and, DON'T LAUGH, it stands for climbing for a higher piece of mind.
The problem I have with tat's is not the cost so much and the pain...Call me a wimp but that **** hurts...

Define tribal? I have some words I'd like to get inked down my spine but I'm not sure which language I'd like them to be in. I'm looking at gaelic right now, trying to keep it remotely related to my family origins.

Tribal is pretty cool lettering. Go into you local ink shop and look. You can't describe it as there are many different styles. I have a tribal wrap around my right bicep (yes, all the way around as I don't like "half wraps"). Getting more soon!

I lived with a tatty artist for years, got some good ones but the funniest I saw was a female aquaintace get a small sign that said "No Access, Military personel only" above her butt. Dam fine (as long as she shaves)

I have a tribal/barb wire around my bicep.
My friend got a tat that looks like the inside of his arm, showing muscles and veins.
It's really cool, but it takes up the whole top of his arm.
