There are usually tons of climbers on Lofoten in july so even if you donīt have a partner when you go there you should be able to get a lot of climbing done! Plus camping is free and you might get lucky and get some nice weather..Look me up if you make it up there!

Ha det!

hei erik

i know there are a lot of climbers up there. but since i'm not a superstrong climber i would like to make an appointment up north to feel more comfortable. are you going to be in lofoten this summer? or in trondheim? or even oslo?

Hi there,

I see in your profile that you are female: the RHM will have their gathering in Norway this summer but I am not yet sure of the date. That's an international female climbers gettogether and great fun. I'll try to keep you posted.

I am in Norway and can lead trad to about 5.9 (5+ ish Norwegian). I don't know if I'll be able to get to Lufoten in early July, but I am in Oslo. Drop me a line if you are in the area and/or want to arrange a climbing weekend.

PS I'm new here so I don't know all of the local crags, once the weather is a bit warmer, I'm going to be doing a lot of local investigation.

Norway; how cool. Is that a fun country to visit and travel? It's kinda like a forgotten country when people think of Europe because most people talk about England, France, Spain and Germany with some talk of The Netherlands.

Look forward to hearing about that country from you.

of course norway is a beautiful and fun place to visit. people are very friendly and the nature is overwhelming. in norway you can be very happy or very unhappy with the weater. and there are a lot of strong climbers there. and of course a lot of cool climbingspots. you could just join me jefro :-)?
