Anyone know of a website I can down load climbing videos on to my ipod.

you can download the ones from Petzl. http://www.petzl.com/video And then convert them to the format that is suitible for Ipods.

What format do you use to change over too! I'm not computer savy so how would I do this?

Buy the iPod video suite from http://www.cucusoft.com . All your DVDs can become iPod videos. Ditto for most (maybe all) other types of videos you watch on your PC.

For output format, I've used mp4, but quicktime will work. Maybe others as well.

There are free software solutions for this stuff also, but it wasn't worth the effort to use the ones I looked at.

.mpg .mpeg .mp4 .mov should all work with iTunes

All the file types listed by ak_powder_monkey will work in iTunes, but only movies in the MPEG-4 format will work on the iPod so they will have the extension .mp4 or .m4v, some .mov files are as well, if you are not sure you can check the movie info in quicktime and it will tell you the compression format. Also quicktime pro will change all movies except .mpg or .mpeg into the desired format for an iPod.
