When do the gates usually open up?? Any guesses on when it will open up this season??

As of today, the gate was locked. but it's only another 2 miles of a hike from the gate to the first bouldering spot, OK coral.

Yeah, I drove up to the gate on 4/22 and it was locked. Also, I called the local rangers office last week and unfortunately they told me it wouldn't open up until late may or early june...total bummer. Let's hope for good weather from here on out!! I guess it's a good excuse for me to fork over the cash for a tramway pass....I haven't made it up there yet.
