My best friend, climbing partner (a/k/a my boyfriend) decided to let me down easy last night and told me he needs time for "him." As much as I respect his feelings, I still am without a climbing partner. I started climbing three months ago, and I was looking forward to he and I learning this together. Now he is gone.

Does anyone in the Spokane, WA area or Cd'A, ID area need a climbing buddy? I am sad to have lost my best friend, and I cannot stand to lose my favorite pastime too. Help?!

Thanks.

JULES

I am sure there are people on this site that you could get familiar with and eventually climb with. No worries. I am sure you will be back on the rock in no time..

my guy and i recently decided to "climb with other people" being too reliant on the one climbing partner and all....

it's good to climb with different people, you can learn a lot, and i know that *i* pay way more attention to technique when i'm climbing with someone new...

Couldn't agree more with the fawkes (Jessica)....you definetly should climb with some other people and as for being a bit sad....most everybody here is supportive of one another so PM one of your friends and have a little chat or whatever.

Hope this helps.

I wish I could climb up there with ya its beatuiful up there. Ive climbed around Preist Lake,Idaho (spelling ?)
It was great. look at the left colum under Users, then Find People then pull down Idaho or Washington hit search and youll have lists of people really close to ya you could PM if noone answers.
And dont worry theres lots of good looking climbers around, who I'm sure can help ya out.

Hey, Mark - thanks for replying. Yes, I still do not have a climbing "partner." However, I have found quite a few great people to climb with, and you are more than welcome to join us. Pullman is quite a ways from Coeurd'Alene -- unless you want to travel on the weekends. Let me know when you can make it up and we can get a group of us out to the crags. See ya soon, and CLIMB ON!!!
