Really I don't mind the torn up hands, I see it as a sign that I've been working hard. It just my Girl Friend doesn't like it. But know one is going to keep me from climbing!

Pretty much go with the moisturizer. The other thing that really helps is to take the chalk off your hands if you are going to go for a hike to another crag, eat lunch or whatever. The more time your hands spend chalked up the drier they get. Climb On is a pretty good one, really stinky, but good. Paul
