A friend of mine had a Blue Water rope and it wore out pretty fast.....and he didnt climb on it every day either. Some thing about the sheath they just dont seem to last very long. Look into Sterling and Maxim I love my Maxim rope it flows through gear alot better than anything else I've climbed on.

I have a dry rope from edelrid, its pretty good, nice feel, the only complaint that I have is that it seems to pick up dirt like there is no tommorow, but that could be because it is yellow in color (mainly). No other complaints other than that. The Duodess ropes from Maxim(I think??) are nice, I think next time I will get one of those. Paul
