Hi, I'm wondering, since the Appledome camping is just rock, where to the campers get their water ? did they bring them ? is the water far from the camp (30min ??) I guess a filter and water threatment kit is recommened. Thanks

I checked on couple pictures from different trip reports, there is no snow near the campsite (less than 5-10 minute walk). So I'm wondering where people get their water. Even if there isn't any snow nearby--there is a large tarn just minutes northwest of camp. Can't imagine it ever dries up!

Pack water to Applebee and you'll curse you self for being so foolish. There are tarns and creeks EVERYWHERE.
