I can climb one day during the week if I have a weeks notice. My skills are from 3 1/2 yrs experience, so I'd be following your lead.

Bumpage for May 13 and 14 in Flag.

I'll be heading up Saturday morning, as I'm working a 24 hour shift on the 12th (Friday,) and get off duty at 0700. Plan on being at the parking lot for the Pit around 10am.

Camp somewhere Saturday night, climb Oak Creek Overlook Sunday, and head back Sunday evening (working Monday.)

Ed, Hillary, Curt, Alex, Bill... who's in?

I can join you on that weekend, bro. I'll get the wife up there for at least one day. Might even be able to camp and make a weekend out of it.

Geoff -- Watson Lake the next weekend, maybe?

Ed if it helps the wifey come up, Robyn will be around to so she'll have some else who probably wont be climbing to hang out with.

The following weekend I'm back @ work. But the weekend after that I'm game. I'm still working 7 on 7 off.

Hello luv,

Still in. I am ditching graduation for this (the blue maternity space-blanket that passes for "academic attire" just does not flatter, and they mail the diplomas anyway). I don't know when we'd get in, Saturday morning I assume. I'll check with Alex on the Pit and get back to ya... I don't know what his tendons are thinking right now as far as limestone pockets go.

Ed, are you saying you're joining us??? Swooooon!

I'll give Kole a jingle. Maybe he's NOT dirtbagging in Yos just yet...

JRB... Fat Tire.

Well, at the moment the wife is busting my ballz about the price of gas, and the fact the Sunday is mother's day, and well...I'm using my survival instincts to tune out the rest of the nagging. Looks like I'm a "maybe" at this point.

Oh, Mother's Day. Reminds me of Valentine's Day. Don't get me started ;)

OK, so Ed, are you saying yea for Watson Lake Dells the weekend after next then? The 20-21. Those climbs are kinda lame but they're totally tendon-proof and the backdrop is pretty spiffy. I'll ropegun for ya :P

Hello Arizona folks,

Anyone interested in partnering up on Sunday 5/13 at Mt. Lemmon? I am driving to Nogales by Monday, so I am planning to get to the area on Saturday night, and get acquainted with Mt. Lemmon on Sunday.

On my best days, I lead 5.10 sport, 5.6 trad, and follow 5.11 sport, 5.9 trad. I'll have my rack and will be as safe and attentive as they get.

Looking for mentor to assist in my knowlege and learning of TRAD climbing. I'm starting down the long and interesting path of TRAD climbing. Love the security of sport leading but want to venture in the orgins of this awsome sport. I'm in Tucson and love Mt. Lemmon. I mostly climb on Sunday's. I at this current moment only have a set of stoppers. Not gonna jump into investing on gear right away so i dont get over confedent and make any stupid decsions. Thanx All.

Maybe. :D

Climbingcowboy, what say let's look for a few days off towards the end of the month, and you and I will hit up Sedona or Watson?

I'll hit Tucson this weekend with Climbsomething and Tucsonalex and anyone else that wants to head south. I'm exercising my non-existant authority and making a command decision.

I have it on good authority that the higher elevations of Lemmon are not a blistering inferno, and that I might even be able to tolerate it. ;)

Climbsomething, pick a convenient place to meet on Saturday morning, around 10am. I'll get off work at 0700, swing by my place to get the gear and the dog, and head south. While picking this meeting place, do keep in mind that I don't know Tucson all that well, and might need to make a cell phone call to say "Where the $%#@ am I?"

Bill, keep me posted? Curt, you in for bolts on Lemmon on Sunday? Ford, are you reading this? Anyone else? Anyone? Buhler? Buhler?

Come to the Dark Side, young Jedi... Give in to your anger and hatred, and your conversion will be complete. We will rule the galaxy (or, at least, the crag) together.

So, join us, won't you?

I might be in for some climbing at Lemmon Saturday? I never did make it to the AZ gathering 4.X due to the rain forecast. I am in the process of going through intense negotiations with the wife on scheduling (i.e read begging). I have planned to do Mars Attacks in Sedona, Tahquitz, and Oak Creek Canyon Overlook in the next few weekends. I suppose I have to give somewhere and put in face time/honeydo list management :?

Let you guys know soon…that is if you don’t mind another climber tagging along.

Cool. Always nice to meet new people and make new friends. WE're climbing at Munchkinland on Saturday, right Climbsomething? Where shall we camp? Rose Canyon or Prison Camp?

At any rate, keep an eye out for my car: Black Dodge Intrepid, temporary dealer tags. I'm the tall guy with glasses, a cigar, piss-poor footwork technique, and a black and brown shepherd/husky mix.

Excellent... I'll bring a 12 pack of something decent as well. Anyone got a big beer cooler they can bring?
