amazing none the less but i cant stand daniel woods. that kid is a punk. I dont know if you guys have read the interview of him in rock and ice but the basis was, he thought he was the king and wanted underwear partys. I just dont like people with cocky attitudes, and i hope he gets taken down at a comp or something soon

I am not his biggest fan or anything but that kid is a serious mutant. In a few more years he will be the best boulderer in the world, my arguement? In late 2004 he had sent 4 V12's. Now he has sent 24 V12's and 5 V14s. That is wack upper level progression, He hasn't lost a comp in awhile and the only way he will is if they ever bring back the PCA.

Actually, he's probably benefiting from his size, weight, and youth (doesn't get hurt as easily). As he gets older, there's a chance he will actually get worse.

daniel woods is a kid. expect him to act his age. he doesn't have to be mature, that is the great part of being a kid. just cuz he climbs better than most adults, don't fault him.

1. I can't believe people care.
2. If I was gonna climb 5.14 I'd hire a better camera operator.
3. What's wrong with underwear parties?

Am I the only one that dislikes watching people climb routes that they know every move and know where every hold is? I would've liked to see him fail a couple of times and work at getting it.

Where is that route? I've got a 13 year old daughter who top ropes a little. She'd get tired just watching that video. Also, did anybody else think there were an awful lot of bolts? I can't believe he didn't Z-clip-- he grabbed the rope right on top of the previous draw to make the next clip several times along the way.

That's why I don't bother with climbing videos anymore. It's like watching a monkey swing from one branch to another. I get that it's hard, but it just doesn't impress me to watch someone climb something they've clearly done a thousand times. But to watch someone struggle, think through it, and then overcome- that's inspiring and entertaining.
All the same, way to go to the little guy that climbs hard. Good luck and enjoy puberty.

that video was way old. he is now 16 and pulls way hard still. kids are cocky and always will be. im 16 and only climb v5 and im cocky. bag on him all you want he will still pull harder than you ever will.
