i was doing a particularly reachy problem a few weeks ago at the gym and grasped a really crapper hold with my ring and middle finger. ifelt a sharp pain in my ring finger and hopped down. i can push with it and pull a certain amount, but then i feel a strain again. its probably not healing as fast as it would if i wasnt climbing 3 times a week :P is it just a pulled tendon or do i actually have something to worry about? the pain isnt excrutiating by a long shot, but i still feel a sharp pain when my hand slips off a hold and my weight is resting solely on my ring finger.

sounds like a strained tendon to me, but i have no experience with them myself. just rest from climbing and c if it comes right would be my advice.
