Here's one for the kitty people, and she's actually climbing, too. She's a couch arete specialist, but performs admirably on chair slabs and mattress roofs too: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=74328 I don't know how she lost her eye. I found her that way, alone, skinny, collarless, and wailing by a busy intersection. How does one say no to a pity case like that? (well, ok, many people would find it pretty easy, but I'm a sucker).

Cosmiccragsman: I noticed your terrific taste in parrots with the group shot - the amazons - they rule! My oldest, Henri is 27 years old. How lucky is that? I've had Lilacs in my life for 27 years!!! People say they are work, but they aren't. Like I said, life wouldn't be worth living without them!

In reply to: That is a *devastating* photo Billl7! ... ssshh, there are bird-lovers watching. Although, I'd give the prize to climbsomething's "How About A Compromise?" on page 1 (about 1/2 way down the page). Bill Edit: Whoops, you like birds. Dang, took the wind right out of me.

AAAAAHHHHH!!!! Pwecious brown tabbies!! I wuv my tabbies!! heh, yeah, that pic of Tilly eating Zeus (my own pwecious brown tabby) has been universally popular. Actually, cosmic one, Doovie is a Duyvenbode's lory. His colors are understated but he makes up for it in charm.

I put them in a background you might like. Hope you don't mind. You can tell they really love each other. :) Edit 06/13/06 At the request of Crimpergirl,(although she liked the pic) due to issues with the photographer, I have deleted the photo manipulation of Ferne and Clover. cosmiccragsman Climbsomething Wrote:

Sorry Climbsomething, My mistake. You sure can tell by the pic that he is a character and full of Charm. I'm not that familiar with lories, I was just going by the shape of the head and beak. He reminded me of a Conure. I know my Amazons though. :D Cosmiccragsman

Cosmiccragsman! Thanks! Of course I love it! I have so many photos that really show the love these birds have for each other, of me, and from me! Just makes me want to get up and kiss them RIGHT NOW (again!).

In reply to: 6 pages and still no Fury? Ask and you shall receive. http://www.maculated.com/images/furyspot.jpg She actually turned into a good crag dog. I can leave her in one spot all day long anywhere and she won't move, and she's actually pretty low key, too. We call 'em "Fury Spots" or if there's a hueco, "Fury Holes." Australian Shepherds - they suck until they're 3 or 4, and then GOLDEN. She's a good ski dog, too. http://www.maculated.com/images/furyski.jpg

Why do you say aussies suck until they're 3 or 4? Just wondering, cause my sister has one (2 years now, just diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia), and I've been thinknig about getting one (same color as your's) to go along with her. We live together now, and they seem like perfect dogs to me. A little high energy, but Ashley obeys pretty well it seems.

We live together now, and they seem like perfect dogs to me. A little high energy, but Ashley obeys pretty well it seems. Aussies are very smart dogs, and also very energetic. These two traits can lead to great dogs, but they can tend to be a bit mischievous at times, and very hyper. But with good training, exercise and supervision, they're great dogs. Oh and i'm sorry to hear about your sister's dog having hip dysplasia. If it is causing her pain, talk to your vet about glocosamine and chondrite supplements for the dog... it's worked wonders for my german shepherd with some shot hips... http://img.photobucket.com/...feelgood/Home006.jpg Not a crag dog by definition, but she loves the outdoors, and is a pretty adept fisherdog... http://img.photobucket.com/..._feelgood/TheDog.jpg

In reply to: No one likes your dog except for you. Get it ino your pea sized brains that although your hairball may be more important to YOU than the people in your life, to the rest of us IT is just a hairball  anytime you bring your hairball anywhere other than your own backyard you are inposeing on other people. heck Most of the time you are imposeing on other people when you keep the mutt in you own back yard. Dog next to my moms house didn't shut up for five freaking years!!!!! Dude if you don't chill, you're gonna give yourself an aneurysm!!

Ya know what's really sad? People who don't get to experience the magical bond between humans and other animals. These pictures are incredible... all of them! I'm mezmerized by many of them. -------------------------------- I broke out a block of sharp cheddar and that awoken my old Cheesehound. She may have very bad eyes, but her nose knows.
