Hey man, I'm in Brevard, not that far away. Let us all know a little more about yourself. We know that you're a sport climber (not really much sport in NC, other than Sauratown) and that you've been climbing for 10 years. I'm not saying spray, but what are you lookin to do? Weekend stuff? Learn trad? Easy toprope (before you spray about climbing 5.11 sport, get on some NC 5.9 trad)? What experience do you have (indoor, outdoor, multipitch)? I'm always up for meetin new people to get out with, but I don't like to pick up strangers off the internet, they might be child molesters! Mark

To anyone in Brevard/Ashville area, let's climb! I'm a very solid 5.11 sport climber(interpretation-onsite most climbs through 11b/c) or 5.10 trad. Looking for someone who could climb "relatively" close to same ability. Looking Glass, Stone, Red River, New River, Obed, etc. or Laurel Knob. Have been climbing 15+ years on the East coast and everywhere else.

Anyone been to the Brevard Rock Gym? just wondering what it's like before I drive out there. Is it better than Climbmax downtown?

In reply to: Anyone been to the Brevard Rock Gym? just wondering what it's like before I drive out there. Is it better than Climbmax downtown? the gym is nice, albeit small....primarily bouldering. similar to climbmax, i think.
