I climbed applied magnetics today and climbed up the left side where there is a gully to set up the toprope and there was a bee hive in the crack there. it doesn't affect the climb, but does affect going up that way. I tried to climb around the hive but got stung in the neck. also there is alot of posion oak on the trail to SY so be careful!

There are small hives in most of the cracks up there, especially near the top of the routes. As soon as the weather cools down, they'll be pretty much dormant. Just grab carefully.... :D
