Can someone please explain the route "Realization". I'm not trying to start a debate about the grade but I'm trying to figure out how the route is layed out and how "Biographie" is involved. This is what I know so far, or think rather(correct me if anything is wrong)... it's approximately 120 ft, Biographie is the initial 60 ft and this route ends at a big jug and rated 5.14d, then the remaining 60 ft is Realization 5.12d and together create the 5.?? route. Is this right? How many times has the established part called Biographie been climbed? Was Biographie only suppose to go up the initial 60 ft and then that be the end until Sharma came by?

Like I said, I'm not trying to start a debate on whether or not this is a 5.15a or if its the hardest route in the world or anything, I'm basically interested in the history of the route. Can someone please let me know any information they have.

Thanks alot,
Mike

The original route is 14c and is about 70 feet long. Then there is an 11 move boulder problem section that is like V11 or something. Then the rest of the route is 12d climbing.

I think he could have done the climb a long time ago. I saw him fall about 30 times from that one move. Then when he got it, it looked like he had done it 20 times. This was partly an ad for the shoe.

I watched the flick on climbxmedia.com and I think Sharma has super stealth rubber, or some suction cups on his fingers. That dude is a bad mofo.
