I will be in the area Jul 15-22 on a family vacation and would love to have someone show me some climbing there! I have been before but didn't bring my gear, this time I will. I lead up to 5.11 sport. Let me know.

sorry about the late reply,
maybe this will be of use for next summer  . there are a handful of good routes at the lake a couple of 10's, an 11 and 2 12's. and a few obscure routes some locals have done up high on the hillside. There is some new development going on in the area and year round climbing and bouldering is available, if it's dry! I am currently designing a website www.AlpineAddict.com which will feature climbing in the Shasta area, I'll be posting alot of info over the next couple of months, so check it out and drop me a line, any questions.
