Hi,

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with a few questions. I want to go to Courtright Reservoir and i want to go to voyager rock to climb this boulder problem "birthday bash", how long does it take to get to voyager rock is it a long approach?? I dont know much about the area so any info on the area or that porblem would be appreciated.

Thanks,

If I'm thinking of the correct Voyager Rock, then it's about 15 minutes from the Maxson trailhead by foot.

Voyager is the one on the far side of the lake right? I've been there to scope routes. Crotch is correct I believe. You can drive across the dam (Power Dome summit) and you'll continue until you reach a good sized parking lot. Park there and it's about 15-25 minutes of moderate to easy hiking. There are some awesome looking climbs there. I've only climbed on Trapper Dome.

Leopold is the one on the far side of the lake. Voyager is on the east side of the lake. driving down the beach makes quick approach.
