A private prosecution brought by the father of Michael Matthews, against three men working for guiding company Out There Trekking Ltd was dismissed recently in court. In 1999 Mr Matthews reached the summit but disappeared on the descent. The case wasbrought against three of Mr Matthews guides for alleged negligence contributed to his death. bbc.co.uk has the story.
