I've always wanted to climb Red Rock and it looks as though my work may be sending me to Vegas! The downside... its likely to be in early Feb and I have a feeling the weather may well ruin any climbing plans I make. Any tips???

bah, early feb is often the best time of year to climb here. there is the off chance of rain, which generally makes climbing a no-no, especially since its not hot enough for the rock to dry quickly.

anyway, for Feb- plan on climbing south facing stuff- sunny stuff is good when its cold.

if you need specific route suggestions, feel free to pm me. i'm the nv area manager and a red rock local, so i should be able to give you some suggestions at the very least.

Brilliant... Thanks for that. I may get back to you for some ideas closer to the time!
