Judges selected from 14 of the worlds popular climbing magazines will choose the first recipients of the Arco Rock Legends awards which will be presented in a ceremony in on the eve of the 20th Rock Master climbing competition in Arco, Italy. The two awards will go to climbers who have played an influential role in the development of the sport. Nominees for the Salewa Rock Award and the La Sportiva Competition Award will be present on the night where the winners will be selected in a live Oscar style show. Sportclimbing.de reports.

A "Hall of Fame" can't be far behind that (what should I wear to the ceremony? Oh, and I'm not really speaking to my old partner I did it all with, hhhmmm. Have to be sure and be careful not to drink to much, too. Wonder if they'll want me to try and climb something...?)

Perhaps we need a venue analogous to "the n00b" for these sorts of questions? Say "the pr0"?
