In the largest experiment of its kind, more than 200 volunteers will participate in high altitude experiments that will ultimately benefit people suffering from a range of aliments. The majority of the volunteers will carry out experiments at base camp while team leader Dr Mike Grocott and others will also take part higher up the mountain. superclimb.co.za

Why can't they do this in a vacuum chamber where it could be done safely and supervised? will there be risk from experiments other than being at alt. and cold? I see they are charging volunteers 2,300 pounds good luck.
