bleau will probably get some rain. for sport, i would suggest paklenica, croatia and kalymnos, greece. both should be dry and have perfect temps. also check out southren italy/spain/portugal. the same goes for bouldering. try to go south, the father you go, the better yre the chances of not getting rained on.

Yup, ^^ what he said! If you go in October, Val di Mello is beautiful that time of year for bouldering. For Sport you'll find a couple of long routes there that are bolted (slab-o-rific) and Sass Remenno... but not much else. -Taz

And of course: Finale Ligure! Although most of Italy has the traditional week of rain beginning of November. South of Spain was brilliant at that time last year, we had perfect weather in El Chorro. Boogah, south of France? Paolo, Sardegna?

Great rock, multi-pitch or crag, fabulous weather, fabulous food... but then there's not much bouldering...

If I had to choose I'd say: Spain: Murcia and Costa Blaca; France: Calanques Italy: Gaeta/Sperlonga-Sardinia-Finale. Croatia: Paklenica; Greece: Kalimnos. Bouldering? I don't know...Font for sure, than maybe the Swiss spots like Cresciano...

Presles near Grenoble in the southern France is a nice multipitch sport spot - 200m of vertical limestone, mostly bolted for your pleasure, and it's one of those places with pretty good weather out there...Verdon is another must in the region - callanques too for sure...
